I’ve had a virus!
Not me! My laptop! I haven’t written anything because it’s been really poorly and been behaving very strangely for the last few days.
But it’s all fixed and well again now!
Me? I’m absolutely fine, thank you! But it was a great reminder to keep my own defenses strong by making sure I eat well, sleep well, get lots of fresh air and exercise, keep stress levels to a minimum, and meditate. All of which I’ve been focusing on for the last week in particular.
But I forgot about the other kind of viruses, and one snook into my laptop…….
So, having focused on all the healthy stuff, I can happily say that after the first week, I’m three pounds lighter and have lost one and a half inches around my waist. Which is way more than intended, but as anyone who has lost weight will tell, the first week or so is easy-peasy and the weight loss usually more than in subsequent weeks.
Strangely though, the thing that should be the easiest – getting to bed before midnight – has been the trickiest by far.
OK – I’ve not actually been asleep by midnight every night. But nearly, most nights…and getting a little earlier day by day – or night by night……kaizen style……
